When and where is Taste of Atlanta?
Taste of Atlanta is Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11 from 11 am to 6pm at Tech Square in Midtown Atlanta. The event site encompasses 5th Street from Techwood to West Peachtree Street and Spring Street from Biltmore Place to Armstead Avenue.

What happens at Taste of Atlanta?
Taste of Atlanta is a 2 day outdoor festival that is packed full of great food and plenty to eat, see and do. The event experience includes:

  • Great tastes from more than 80 of Atlanta's favorite restaurants

  • National and Local Celebrity Chefs on three (3) Cooking Stages

  • Farm to Festival Village showcasing the local sustainable movement with live cooking demonstrations and a farmers market selling locally grown products

  • Amica Insurance Kids Avenue featuring live interactive cooking demonstrations for the kids and plenty of hands on activities

  • Music and entertainment from local and regional artists

  • Wine & Beer Experience featuring a tasting village and seminars (Admission open to VIP ticket holders only)

Does Taste of Atlanta benefit a charity?
Taste of Atlanta offers support to several charitable organizations including Share our Strength's Operation Frontline, Atlanta's Table and the Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia's (HEFG) ProStart ® program.

How much are tickets and how does the ticket system work?

Are kids free?
Kids 13 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a paid adult. Taste Coupons are needed to sample food items.

Where do I purchase advance tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person at several metro Atlanta area ticket outlets. For complete details click here.

I pre-purchased tickets to the event, where do I go to get into the event?

Are there ATMS at Taste of Atlanta?
Yes. There are several ATM's located throughout the event site. For details, please refer to our event site map.

Are pets permitted at Taste of Atlanta?
While we love our pets as much as anyone, pets are not allowed onto the festival site.

My restaurant is interested in participating in Taste of Atlanta. Who do I contact?
Restaurant booths for Taste of Atlanta 2009 are sold out. Restaurant invitations are distributed in February. Please e mail shelly@tasteofatlanta.com for more information.

What MARTA station is closest to the festival?
Take MARTA to the North Avenue or Midtown station.

I'm coming from out of town. Is there a hotel near the event?
Yes. The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is the official hotel for this years event. Located directly adjacent to the event site, the hotel is offering an incredible $99 rate (single of double occupancy) for Taste of Atlanta fans for their weekend.
